My dog is the coolest because...
Max was the coolest dog because he did everything a dog should do and he did it right! He barked when someone came to our house, not the neighbor's. He watched over our kids when they'd play with the neighborhood kids and he'd be right there by their side if a bully decided to pick on them, growling just enough to scare them off. When we'd go camping he'd hide in our van when it was all packed up so we couldn't see him and end up coming with to our surprise. If you were sad he'd come snuggle by you to keep you company. When you were happy he'd come to play with you bringing a ball or a rope for tug of war. He always stayed in the yard. Correction, he always stayed in the yards of the lawns we mowed, so his area became quite large when we mowed our elderly neighbor's yards too! He always pottied in the same area so you didn't have to worry about the unexpected landmine in the yard. He didn't bite, only playful nibbles unless you were an intruder, then watch out! He was a gentle soul and oh so loving! And how can you not love that smile? When I took this picture he literally smiled for the camera when I told him "smile!" He really was the best dog ever!!! We miss him dearly as he passed away on Thanksgiving Eve, 2012. We have since had other dogs, 3 at the present time, but none compare to our Max! RIP buddy!
