My dog is the coolest because...
Bo is so cool he goes to school!  He works at an elementary school as a therapy dog. He even wears an official "staff" name badge! Sometimes he completes class projects, like when he opened a booth for our mini-society called "Bo's Nose Knows" where kids paid him faux money to watch him find a treat hidden under tennis ball in a muffin tin or when he solved division problems by barking the quotients!

His favorite class is music - he loves singing Happy Birthday to special friends, and the kids won't let a birthday go by without the honor of his howls.  Walking around the school, he makes everyone smile.  When someone is having a bad day, Bo knows just what to do to make everything feel better - which is usually just getting a little snuggle for distraction from their woes.  Even teachers snicker when they watch Bo amble down the hallway crossing from one door to the next - although it can be a little disruptive to hear a little voice yell, "there's a dog in school!".

Bo often wears a bow tie, reminding even the youngest kids of his name.   Other days he wears a bandana that is hand-made to match mom's mask.  Throughout the day Bo gets visitors from around the school who just need a little doggie snuggle to make it though the day.  His own class of students enjoys how he walks around the room with his mom, and then just flops on the carpet or couch waiting for them to bring the pets to him.

During virtual learning Bo helped hand-make, and then deliver, mini stuffed Bo toys to each of his 2nd grade students so they'd be able to snuggle him from home.  He learned to stand on a desk in front of a computer camera to be seen by all of the kids, too! 

Bo's best friend is a rabbit, who like him was adopted from the shelter.  They have a quiet understanding about how much to pounce toward one another while trying to get the other in trouble for playing too roughly.  Usually the rabbit is the one getting told to back off!  

In summary, Bo enjoys camping, watching kids play, and naps with his people.  From playing that he's a farm dog at grandma's house, family holiday gathering with all his cousin dogs, quiet days at home napping to catch up on his beauty sleep, to the many days he spends working at school Bo is definitely the coolest dog in the Fox Valley!
