My dog is the coolest because...
Orca is the comic relief in our home. She “speaks” in a dopey low tone and never seems to know what is going on. Her ears are always pinned to the side of her head in a look of confusion. In the summer she enjoys laying on ant hills and then biting at the ants as they crawl all over her. She lays in the backyard baking in the sun for hours which leads to our neighbors yelling over the fence, “Orca, you ok?” And her response is to pop her head up, glance their way, then flop back down. She loves to wrestle with her brother and feels it’s her personal duty to remove any eye boogers from his face. She’s quiet, low-key and often the favorite of any visitors we have. She’s become agoraphobic in the past couple years, afraid to leave the house unless it’s in a car, so no more walks for her. She’s still social as ever though and loves meeting new people and dogs in controlled settings, such as the pet store or a friend’s house. She’s our farty princess and couldn’t imagine life without her.
