My dog is the coolest because...
Sandals has the cutest wiggle butt, the brightest smile, and the sweetest kisses. This beautiful soul has all of that despite the fact that in November she will have been in rescue for 3 YEARS patiently waiting for her forever home. Sandals was let down by her humans before. She once had a family (and a dog sister) in Texas. Her owners moved out of their rental and left their two dogs under a carport with 1 bowl of water (no food) and a note to the landlord saying that animal control would be there to pick the dogs up in a week or two. So yes, trust has to be earned. But once you have it, she makes it worth the wait. Sandals deserves a family of her own who she can love and trust. Although she would look amazing on a beer can, Sandal's biggest win would be getting adopted.
