My dog is the coolest because...
I need someone to take a chance on me. My name is Dixie and Mit Liebe saved me from a shelter and euthanasia list, but they can't save me from the decline I'm experiencing in the kennels while I'm waiting for a home. They need someone who is willing to open their home to me to help me further. I'm not doing well in here, and I've been here a very long time. I don't understand why people pass me up. When they come to see me in the kennel, I bark and bark and bark trying to get their attention. When I do get out for a walk, I'm so sweet and affectionate. I walk really well on the leash because I'm so HAPPY to be out with a hooman and enjoying the great outdoors. I'm housebroken. I'm more comfortable when meeting new people if they will just let me come to them instead of reaching for me. But I warm up quickly, and then I'm SUPER affectionate. I like other dogs, and I was once introduced to a cat at the vet's office that scared me, so I think I could live with a cat as long as it doesn't come after me or tease me with running.

My friends at ML think I’m the coolest because I passed my K9 Good Citizen and am such a happy happy girl!
