My dog is the coolest because...
Blade (named for the movie & based on his looks) is a rescue dog that comes from a dark past. He was pretty timid when I adopted him, and after an X-ray from the vet it was confirmed that he had been shot multiple times with buckshot. He is perfectly healed and the remaining pieces don’t affect him at all! We believe he is Husky x Shepherd x Australian Kelpie mix.

Blade is extremely smart and mischievous, and can open doors and windows - he likes to attempt to escape & roam the neighborhood much to his human’s dismay!

He has a very important job in helping his mom foster other dogs. He does a fantastic job being an “ambassadog” to the pups that come through, and helps them learn how to be a dog again. He is a great partner in fostering with his playful manner and ability to let the foster dogs know they are safe and will be loved while hanging out with us.

Don’t let his RBF (resting Blade face) fool you - he’s a real sweetheart and expert snuggler.
