Tessie was truly an angel. She was a kind, playful, sweet, and gentle giant and many said with those eyes she could look into your soul. After 10 years of traveling the country, we settled in Wausau this summer and Tessie passed away days later, fulfilling her duty as husband's guardian angel to bring us to a home where we feel at peace. Tessie traveled coast to coast, swimming in the Atlantic, Pacific, Gulf, and Great Lakes. She explored more than half of the United States and called 6 states home in her 9 years. She was truly one of a kind.
