My dog is the coolest because...
Our dog, Rogue, was rescued by the Mit Liebe German Shepherd Dog Rescue when she was found running wild. Members of the community were mistakenly convinced she was a wolf and she should be destroyed. Rogue had to be caught in a live trap as she was so skittish around people. We agreed to foster her for a few weeks, but ended up adopting her. That was two years ago. She is now a forever member of our family and goes everywhere with us, including camping and 4-wheeling. She also competes in Rally and Obedience trials and absolutely loves playing fetch with her assortment of tennis balls. Rogue is also a certified Therapy Dog and visits our local nursing home and two different schools on a weekly basis. She brings joy and comfort to those who are in challenging situations in their lives. Because of her, our family had also fostered a few more pups to give back to the organization that has given us so much. Rogue has been instrumental in helping us teach these rescue dogs manners, patience and most important, trust. She is definitely a Top Dog in our minds and hearts.
