Remi's cool factor landed him his dream job as the Pecan Acres Pet Care Ambassador. Monday - Friday, you will find him at the veterinary hospital, where he believes his responsibilities include, but are not limited to, greeting clients, comforting patients, supervising minor procedures, and napping on the pharmacy counter. On the weekends, he enjoys visiting some of Houston's best local breweries and ice houses, although Rodeo Goat is his favorite burger joint and patio hangout.

One may ask themselves, "How does such a cool dog stay so humble"? It's simple: 3 years ago, Remi's parents went through a nasty divorce that left him homeless and anxiety-ridden. Pug Hearts of Houston took him in until he found his forever home with his new mom. His new mom was able to take him to work every day, and he quickly learned that he didn't have to be anxious or fearful; he could have a happy life after all. He also realized that he enjoys being around people and other animals.

Clients know him by name and often look for him when they visit Pecan Acres Pet Care. He's the first in line to comfort a sick or recovering patient. And when he's not providing emotional support or napping on the job, you'll find him assisting Pecan Acres' Social Media Director, waiting for his next photo opportunity. He's just one cool dude!
