My dog is the coolest because...
Boomer, aka Boomenhauer got his name from the white boomerang on his back end. It was almost like an arrow to "scratch here". We don't know how his life started as he was a stray and at the shelter for 4 months when we met him. He was about a year old at the time we adopted him and he was part of our family for 10 great years. Sadly, he recently lost his life to blastomycosis. He has hiked mountains in CO, canoed down the Wisconsin and Trempealeau River many times, hiked hundreds of miles of trails, countless camping trips and many days at the cabin. He loved adventures as much as he loved to snuggle and sleep. He transitioned to family dog effortlessly, he was best buds with our two girls and slept at the foot of their beds. He had fans wherever he went. He was the best good friend.

If we are lucky enough to win any prizes for pups that Boomer cannot use, they will be donated to misfits mutts.
