Our Mission: Aid, Advocate, Adopt to enrich the lives of companion animals.

The Lakeshore Humane Society, Inc. (LHS) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit open admission animal shelter serving the Manitowoc County area for over 45 years. The LHS mission is to ensure humane and compassionate treatment of all animals entrusted to its care, reunite lost animals with their owners, place adoptable animals in responsible and permanent homes, and extend humane education to the public. Although we receive a small amount of support from municipality stray contracts, we mainly rely on private donations and grants to continue our programs and work in the community.

LHS cares for over 1,500 companion animals annually, placing over 900 animals each year in responsible, permanent homes.

Oshkosh Mid-Morning Kiwanis is a thriving organization of men and women dedicated to serving the children and young people of Oshkosh through iPads for Autism, educational grants, student wellness programs, and other great initiatives. As part of Kiwanis International, the group also supports children throughout the nation and the world. The Oshkosh Mid-Morning Kiwanis Foundation financially supports club activities and is a 501(c)3 nonprofit charity. If you're interested in getting involved, Oshkosh Mid-Morning Kiwanis meets every Friday from 8-9 am.

Every Brewer has a story of where it all began…  In October of 2019 we brewed our first 5-gallon batch of beer on a stove top in the kitchen. It was there that we identified our passion for brewing craft beer, but quickly realized that our new profound hobby needed to move to the garage. Over the years we experimented and perfected our craft while building camaraderie with close family, friends, and neighbors over a delicious beer at the end of the day. In 2021 a lifetime opportunity presented itself where we could turn our passion into a reality called, Craft Creek Brewing Co. Our first official draft was poured on March 17th of 2022 at our brewery and tap room located in downtown Manitowoc, WI. As we continue to create more memories, we look forward to sharing our journey with you.
