My dog is the coolest because...
Lucy is our queen of the pack. Lucy has movie star looks and attitude when the camera is out. But behind the scenes she is the sweetest, cuddliest dog who rules the house with just a bark. She and her sister Ethel (litter mates) came to us from LHS at roughly 8 years of age in 2017. We lost Ethel to cancer in 2020 and Lucy was understandably sad. But Lucy has shown us that she is a very resilient and character filled "gal of a certain age". Currently Lucy heads our household of 2 humans and 2 dogs (ages 1 and 2, also LHS rescues). Lucy has "raised" those two pups despite her original statement of "no, no way" when they were brought into the house. At the end of the day, our fair headed queen makes us laugh, makes us smile and makes our hearts glad. And she never lets us forget that breakfast is at 530 am, second breakfast shortly thereafter, lunch at 12Noon and dinner should never be late, 5 pm sharp. We love her.
