Pet's Story
Savanah is a year old rescue pocket beagle from a kill shelter down in Georgia. Thanks to a rescue league, they saved her on her very last day. She already had a litter of pups we figure at 5 or 6 months old. She was severely beaten/ abused, dehydrated and malnourished when we adopted her 10 days later. It was one of the happiest days of my life, just 2 months ago. Savanah is such a joy and loves her new home. She no longer crouches down when you pet her head in fear of being beaten, she loves to cuddle, has gained weight and has learned to trust humans again. We are so proud of her and love her more than words can say. Adoption is the best way to go. Thanks to people like New Fairfield/Sherman Animal Welfare and the many pet rescues around the world.
