Pet's Story
The handsome fella seen in this picture is Baxter. He was rescued from NFSAW in March 2021. He's about three years old and originally hails from North Carolina. He's exceptionally affectionate and greets anyone who comes to the door with raised back, question mark tail, and rub-ups at the ankle. He has several daily tasks of equal importance. These include eating, sleeping, playing, sleeping, playing, eating, sleeping, and playing. His hard work usually ends around 10 PM when he goes to sleep after playing a little and getting a bite to eat. He's also quite fond of scratches and rubs, especially under his chin and behind his ears. Currently, Baxter owns three boxes: one is a penthouse loft on top of a bookcase, another is a basement-type flat under an office desk, and the third is a ground-level mansion. He also owns about seven chairs, a couch, eleven windows, an old office chair that he lays on top of like a Jaguar in a tree after a kill, a stool, a fluffy chase toy, and a tunnel. Baxter is, quite literally, livin' the dream.
