Pet's Story
This is Lucy, my cat that I rescued from my back deck one cold January morning. Two years before this I worked with the New Fairfield/Sherman Animal Shelter to get her TNR (Trap, Neuter, Released). After I released her, I didn’t see her again for quite some time. She then showed up every day looking for food and attention. That’s when I took her in and gave her a safe place to live. After removing ticks, deworming her and having all but 4 of her teeth removed, she is now a happy and healthy indoor kitty. She loves hunting for play and sometimes, real mice, sleeping in the sun and snuggling with her mom.
