BonnieBlue
Pet's Story
BonnieBlue had been at the NFSAW for at least 1 year. Though very sweet she was at least 12 and had arthritis which kept getting her overlooked. I am a volunteer there and kept hoping someone would adopt her despite her age.She was so quiet and sweet and loved to be brushed. I have a dog"Nauti" and was not sure if BonnieBlue would be okay with this. I finally decided to adopt her and she came to our home and to our surprise she adjusted great even jumping on my bed to sleep with "Nauti" and I. She loved sitting at the front door to get some sun and watch the birds. While BonnieBlue was only with us a short time I was so glad I brought her home. Her sweet disposition deserved a loving home and we were blessed to have her. I hope any future adopter will consider a senior cat or dog because they deserve a second chance at a loving home and while I was sad she was gone too soon , I know she was happy to have a home of her own in her final days. This is why I hope BonnieBlue makes the NFSAW calendar as a testament for senior pets who hope to have a home again. I have adopted many senior pets throughout the years and was always grateful I did.
