My name is Hank! When I went to live with my mom, I was a crazy boy, who knew no boundaries and had energy to spare. I had not received a lot of socialization, so I was scared of everything! People, loud noises, things that moved! But, with constant encouragement, my mom helped me learn that people are THE BEST! I also learned that if I wait patiently, shop owners and strangers on the street will give me treats and even butt scratches.

I am happy to report that now I get to hike, snowshoe, swim, walk and run a lot! I have even heard my mom say, I wasn't what she wanted, but I was absolutely what she needed. I do my best to take care of her and look forward to all of our adventures!
