Dog's Bio
We adopted Sugar Bear 10 and a half years ago, after she had been rescued from a high kill shelter in KY. She came to us with severe separation anxiety, after having lived in two loving foster homes. With a lot of love, patience, and training, she has become a much more relaxed dog who loves hiking, going for boat rides, playing in the snow with our other dog, and getting lots of love and affection. At 12 years old, she's slowing down, but still enjoys life to its fullest. We are so lucky to have her in our family!
