Kaja is a rescue from the south. At the age of 11 months she got pregnant with 7 pups while living on a farm with 3 intact males. The owner decided he could not afford the pups and ran Kaja over with his tractor. NGPR heard about her lying in the field and saved her. 5/7 puppies survived and she underwent a back/hip fusion. She came north and when I saw her I immediately adopted her from NGPR - she has been amazing ever since. A true Peter Pan’s Nana.
