Dog's Bio
Sugar Bear was rescued from a high kill shelter in KY in 2010, when she was about 2 years old. After being in 2 foster homes, we adopted her in Jan. 2011. She had severe separation anxiety, but through a lot of love and positive training, she became a confident, happy dog who loves to hike, get belly rubs, and spend time with all of us, including her "brother" Jasper, a Chocolate Lab X. She loves living in the Adirondacks, especially in the winter when there's plenty of snow. We are so lucky to have her in our lives!
