Dolly was adopted from Great Pyr Rescue of Atlanta. Sabine Elbert was Dolly’s foster mom. Porter is local to Bell Buckle. We got him to keep her company. They are both wonderful guard dogs for our farm. In this photo, you see them guarding a wayward unripened watermelon that escaped our garden. Dolly is now 1 1/2 years of age; Porter is 1 year 3 mo.
