Dog's Bio
Parker was rescued from an animal shelter by the Great Pyrenees Rescue Society and taken to their sanctuary in Houston, Texas in June of 2017. He was heart worm positive and 25 lbs underweight. My wife and I adopted him on July 15, 2017. After nursing him back to health, we certified him as a Therapy Dog. He visits schools, hospitals, and nursing homes and is loved by staffers, patients and students. He loves all people but is especially fond of children. The younger children refer to him as “our polar bear”.
