From Dumped Dog (literally) to Service Dog, one dog's story. Avalondee was tossed off a truck in Texas, captured by a driver behind the truck and taken to a Pet's Wish Rescue in Del Rio, Texas, terrified, underweight and matted. She waited over 7 months for her new owner to find her, then embarked on a new chapter of life in Utah. She arrived not understanding any common command words in English or Spanish. Intelligent and highly motivated, like most Pyrenees, she tackled manners, obedience and service training in less than a month and now is a Registered Service Dog.
