Sunny is a rescue we adopted in March 2017. She wasn't treated well in her previous life and is very nervous around strangers, including us for the first several weeks. This photo was taken when she turned the corner and started trusting us completely. The look on her face says it all. She's in her forever home with people she loves and trusts. It's been over four months now, and she continues to grow more confident, and we love her more every day.
