Chief is named after his favorite human, my husband, who was a Senior Chief in the Navy. When we met him at the shelter, he went straight to the Senior Chief and sat down, leaning his whole body against him. He chose my husband just as much as my hubby chose him and they are inseparable. Our family wouldn't be the same without him. Senior Chief is looking forward to retirement with his first mate :).
