Ben was rescued from a horrible situation where he was starved, beaten, and even shot in the leg before they abandoned him. He had significant orthopedic, resource guarding and doggy PTSD issues. Despite all this abusive past treatment, the long years of recovery have been worth it all. He trusts humans and loves all creatures great and small. He is an absolute joy and we are so happy to have him in our family. We love this boy!
