Marco was part of two "accidental" litters born around the 2014 Christmas Holidays in the Midwest due to the parents being working unaltered dogs. Their birth put the rescue under the additional stress of finding foster homes in the middle of the Christmas holidays, but they also brought together the rescue organization and the original owners to work on altering the adult dogs no so no more accidental litters happened. The 13 puppies also brought joy to many homes, most of them becoming foster failures, like Marco and his sister Cleo, both very much loved in our home.
