Please tell us about your Coronado Memory
In 1983, Greg & I were searching for a "destination wedding" location. I was living in NYC & he, in Seal Beach, CA. Although neither of us knew much about the Del, or Coronado, we knew who Marilyn Monroe was and had seen Some Like It Hot.

After a bit of research & a visit, we reserved the gazebo for our Dec 18, 1983 wedding. Since we knew no one here, the Del did everything for us: they got the flowers, the wedding cake--even the minister (who went by "Friar John"). All I had to do was buy the dress & say "I do". And I did!

Fast forward 32 years & now we live here--moved here in 2010. And I own a business here. I attribute it all to Marilyn Monroe. That's my story & I'm sticking to it!
