I have the pleasure of promoting special exhibits and events at CHA, and always enjoy finding just the right photo from our collection to convey what the exhibit is all about in an eye-catching way. This is one of my favorites from our 2013 exhibit, "100+ Years of Coronado Yachting." It shows a young woman named Elizabeth Muttlebury enjoying a day on the water in 1930s Coronado--a time of innocence between the two world wars. She looks so happy and carefree, and I want to know more about her. I also like the fact she is participating in a sport that, at least in those days, was primarily male dominated.
