Please tell us about your Coronado Memory
I have this photo captioned as ‘Mad Dog & English Woman’! My friend Emily was over from the UK, visiting me at my new home in Coronado and captured the moment my dog Bodie decided he wanted to cool off in the clear waters of the bay. Ever mindful of the leash laws, I waded in with him. It wasn’t until I saw the picture, with the San Diego skyline in the background and the abundance of blue sky that I realized just how far I’d come from sploshing in puddles in my rainy grey homeland! That evening we walked the same path, only this time with the colored lights of Downtown reflecting on the water, and watched in awe as a pair of dolphins dipped in and out of the rainbow ripples. Just another day in Coronado!
