Your Pet's Rescue StoryOliver came to me as a foster dog in February 2014 at just 3 months old. He was in need of rescue as his original owners no longer wanted him because he was chewing on their new baby's toys. They threatened to just let him go in the middle of the woods. The rescue I volunteer with, Sadie's Safe Harbor Canine Rescue, drove out and picked him up immediately. As soon as I got my hands on him, I knew he would be a FOSTER FAILURE. He wanted nothing but love from people and wanted to PLAY PLAY PLAY with my other dogs. He was the perfect puppy, housetrained in less than 2 days, never chewed on anything other than flip flops, slept through the night and even enjoyed his crate. He now spends his days swimming in our pond, running through our woods and riding on anything that moves. He is a brother to all of the foster dogs that come into my family and helps each one of them gain confidence. He teaches them how fun life can be and how to enjoy life as a dog. Oliver is a big "goof" and makes everyone around him laugh with his personality, crazy tail or his licks to the face.
