Your Pet's Rescue Story
How does one uniquely convey the profound relationship they share with their pet? “He rescued me.“, “He’s changed my life in ways I never expected.”, “I don’t know where I would be without him.” These comments are all a bit cliché, yet deeply, and oh so true. Here are the basics…

I had enough of social media, the news, politics, traffic jams, and bureaucracy. I needed to connect with this world in a different way; I needed a pet companion! I recently considered a cat rather than a dog after 20 years of canine camaraderie. I decided to visit the felines needing adoption. Amongst the cats jumping about and playing chase, I noticed a Russian Blue chilling in a cardboard box.

The rescue center known for its upbeat atmosphere and feline frolicking, was in full swing, however this little guy was having none of it. He kept to himself; my kind of cat! I approached slowly, offering only a gentle smile and a slow hand for petting. Immediately, the cat, later named Princeton, emerged from his box of solitude. Presenting his best Halloween stretch, he revealed his stunning gray-blue coat and bright green eyes. Princeton was instantly drawn to me as I was to him. He nudged my hand to stroke his head, curled up beside me, and was clearly ready for a new home. I adopted him without question; he was the one.

Our days are filled with mirth and contentment instead of frustration and aimlessness. Now Princeton and I enjoy a loving life filled with warmth and companionship, doing our thing…far from the maddening crowd.
