Your Pet's Rescue Story
Cordial was on her last 24 hours at the shelter, “code red.” A rescue saw her sitting on the staffs lap and couldn’t let her get put down. We randomly went to a shelter event. We were thinking of getting a dog but not yet…..She was in rough shape, very skinny and had just had puppies. However, her gentle and kind nature showed through. We adopted her then and there. She has a scar on her head and didn’t even know what a toy was. She doesn’t bark to the point we were concerned she didn’t have a voice box. We had an inside joke using the word “Cordial” and after a couple days of having her we knew it was the perfect name for her. She is a quiet, kind, gentle angel who thinks she’s a lap dog. She will cuddle your chest if you say “gentle”. She wouldn’t hurt a fly and is so grateful for all of the love she has now. She now has loving parents and grandparents, all the toys in the world and even gets to go for sprints on the baseball field. She is the best thing that ever happened to us!
