Your Pet's Rescue Story
In May of 2019, I found myself wandering into Pet Alliance in Orlando just to look around as I was in the area. My fiancé and I had been discussing getting a dog for a while and I thought it wouldn't hurt to look around. Little did I know that day would change our lives forever!

As I walked through the kennels, one dog stood out to me. His name was Triage, and those sweet puppy eyes seemed to say, “You know you want to meet me!” I learned that he had been surrendered to Pet Alliance because his energy was too much for his previous family, but that energy was exactly what we were looking for. I rushed home, shared my experience with my fiancé, and together, we returned to the shelter. Our hearts were set on adopting this bundle of energy and renaming him Buzz. From that moment on, Buzz became the center of our universe.

Of course, bringing Buzz into our lives came with its challenges. He was reactive and dog-selective, which meant we had to learn a lot about managing his behavior. We had our good days and our bad days, but through it all, Buzz taught us the importance of patience, understanding, and unconditional love. Despite his imperfections, Buzz has filled our lives with so many wonderful moments. He loves going for car rides, solving dog puzzles, and has his own bed in every room of our house.

Buzz may not be a perfect dog, but he is perfect for us and we wouldn't trade him for anything in the world!
