Your Pet's Rescue Story
After our oldest dog crossed the rainbow bridge, we made a trip to PetSmart to get some food for our other dog and cats - it happened to be adoption day, and this pup was sitting in the "kissing booth". My husband and I had promised no more pets, but after seeing Marigold I knew she had to come home with me.
I called my husband and he said "No way are we getting another dog right now, we already decided together it wasn't the right time." I walked away from Marigold and it actually brought tears to my eyes imagining I would never see her again. I don't know what came over me because I had gone by so many "adoption days" and never had an issue.
So when I got home, I walked inside and said.. "The car is running - go see for yourself."
So my husband went to PetSmart. He called me and said... "You're right. She belongs with us and I'm picking out her leash."
And Marigold came home with our family that day and will be with us for the rest of her life.
