Your Pet's Rescue Story
Winston’s rescue story is a bit of a “what’s meant to be will be” kind of story. I wasn’t intending on adopting a cat the day I walked into the Downtown Pet Alliance building, but I ran into the sweetest black cat, Sirius (Now Winston). He had just been brought back from his previous adopted because their husband didn’t want any cats. As soon as I saw his pointy little ears I knew I wanted him, but if you know cats, you know they have to choose you. And he did. He apparently hadn’t taken to anyone since he had come back, but he immediately purred when I held him in my arms (in his little towel wrap). Since that day, him and I have been inseparable.
