Your Pet's Rescue Story
After suddenly losing our sweet mutt Tyson in 2021, my husband, Chris, and I were looking for the perfect addition to our small family. We knew we needed a smaller and “less energetic” (read:lazy) dog for our new townhome. An English Bulldog seemed like the perfect fit for us. Meatball or “Meaty” as we call him, quite literally greeted us at our first meeting by flipping over on his back and demanding belly rubs. It was love at first sight.

Meatball is a hefty boy who loves to sleep, eat, poop and repeat. Occasionally he will venture out with us so he can enjoy some attention from his local constituents…. greeting them on his back, of course.

We don’t know much about his life before adoption, but we are so grateful that we can give him the comfortable and happy life he deserves for the rest of it!
