Your Pet's Rescue Story
I had made up my mind that I no longer wanted a pet after my family’s dog had passed due to how much it hurt to see him go. A couple years later I got this desire to look for a cat and after much searching we came across Nox (latin for night) (previous name: Jessye) at Pet Alliance. Right from the beginning, he was super friendly and sweet and so my husband and I decided to adopt him. I was nervous and anxious to make sure our home was comfortable for him and that he was comfortable. The first day he came home, he settled right away. He acclimated to our home so well. It was like he had been with us for so long already. A week or 2 later, we heard of the tragic news of the fire of the Orlando Pet Alliance location which is where we adopted Nox. I came home and hugged him and cried thinking that he could have been there if we had not adopted him. Him being with us was meant to be. He has healed my heart from my family dog passing. My husband and I cannot imagine life without him. Nox does not have one mean bone in his body. He is truly the perfect cat to meet if you have never been around cats because of how quiet, calm and friendly he is. He is now 1 year and 5 months old.
