Your Pet's Rescue Story
Loki was adopted 5 years ago through Pet Alliance. We were told he came from a high kill shelter after the floods in Texas or Louisiana. Our Casey (an Aussie) passed away 4 months prior, and while we thought we would wait to adopt another dog, our house was just too quiet. We found Loki (then named Zinfandel because the group of rescues he belonged to was named after wines) through Pet Finder as an Aussie mix. Loki, while not an Aussie mix (DNA tested after he displayed no Aussie characteristics) has turned out to be the best dog for our family. He loves jogging and walking for exercise, getting the mail, greeting visitors who ring the doorbell, cuddling on the couch, and riding in the car.
