Your Pet's Rescue Story
When our kitty of 18yrs passed away it left a hole in our hearts (us & our 5yr old kitty at home)... and then 2wks later we saw Truffle on a south Florida animal shelter website and we just knew! We read how she was an unwanted runt given to the shelter, growing up in a cage and covered in ringworm. We immediately sent them emails making sure they knew we wanted to save her, and it turns out she wanted us too. She was so tiny and undernourished, but the happiest little thing. She knew she was going to her forever home. And now today, at almost 3yrs old, Truffle is still the happiest & tiniest kitty who thinks she's the same size as her 17lb and 19lb siblings. Chasing them around the house, tackling them from the sofa and snuggling with her dad are her favorites. She rules the house now, no more cage!
