Your Pet's Rescue Story
Huck is a rescue dog from Route66 Rescue in Ozark, Missouri. He was bred into a situation where the owners where unable to find him and his three brothers a home and, subsequently, surrendered to a rescue group. Huck experienced a severe neglect and has made great strides in learning to love and trust humans. When first brought home he was terrified of meeting new people, refused to walk through doorways, and hesitated once he was inside. Now, although cautious, he loves making new friends and snuggling with both his human and furry friends. It has been a joy to watch him blossom.
