Your Pet's Rescue Story
Fate decided that Winston needed rescuing that day. My husband and I had a trip planned to visit Orange County Animal Services, but got held up at IKEA, which put us at the shelter an hour after we intended to be there. We took out two dogs to interact with, but neither seemed like a good fit for us. I had given up for the day, but decided to make another round to see if I had missed any and that's when we found Winston (formally known as Fatty). He didn't even have a placard with information yet. He had just been surrendered not 15 minutes earlier. Once we took him out to play, we knew we'd be adopting him. He's since then turned into this happy, spunky being and we're happy to be his fur-ever home!
