Your Pet's Rescue Story
Scout was born on a farm in Indiana, where a kind woman from Florida traveled to find a companion after her three children grew up and started their own lives. The woman loved Scout as if he were her own baby boy, and he became a very spoiled pup! Unfortunately, after four years of walks through Winter Garden, visits to the beach, and fetch at the dog park, the woman was diagnosed with stage four cancer. Scout was very good with her while she was sick, gently resting his head on her bed to ask for pets. Before she passed away, she asked her daughter (that's me!) to take care of Scout when she was gone. Scout brought enormous comfort to me during a very sad time. I now have the pleasure of spoiling the sweet dog as much as my mother did. He has forced this shy girl to meet all of her neighbors (he loves getting attention while we're on walks) and he is a master lizard hunter. I can't imagine inheriting anything better than this precious fluffer. As they say, "Who rescued who?" I know for sure Scout rescued me!
