Your Pet's Rescue Story
Django came to me as a stray puppy that was severely dehydrated and barely 2lbs. I noticed him wandering the streets in my neighborhood, no collar, no chip, and no apparent family. I started leaving food and water on my front porch because I felt so bad for him. After a week or so he finally trusted me enough to let me pick him up. I took him to the vet, got him vaccinated, provided a clean, warm environment and watched him grow. He is 80lbs now and my best friend. I have trained him and he knows all commands and can even open doors to let himself outside into the backyard! He arrived in my life when I was going through some difficult times, and I know our meeting was meant to be, I guess you could say that we saved each other. Thank you for reading our story and it would be an honor for him to be recognized in this contest.
