Pet's Story or Bio
Dixie is our beautiful rescue who beat the odds after contracting parvovirus in Louisiana as a very young puppy. After several days of hospitalization she recovered and was brought to MA, where we fell in love with her. Her love, loyalty, intelligence and goofy antics fill my family’s hearts daily. Our good friends adopted her littermate, also a parvovirus survivor. Watching Dixie and Trixie play together and love on one another is something so special to be a part of. We are so grateful to all shelters for what they do day in and day out. Without them so many beautiful animals would not be able to live the lives they deserve.
