Pet's Story or Bio
I had been volunteering at MWHS for some time, and came in one day to find Cooper, then named “Scout” in a cage in one of the adult adoption rooms. He was sick from being recently neutered and had a cold. I sat on the floor by his cage and talked to him for a while. I finally opened the cage door and he promptly stepped out and sat in my lap. What a big boy! We continued this routine for 8 days. On the 9th day he had finished his course of antibiotics and I got to take him home. He has blossomed. He is still a bit shy, but has become my dearest, funny, tubby and snuggly friend!
