Pet's Story or Bio
To give you a little background, Earl and Yara were both brought to MetroWest right around the same time frame (the tail end of 2017), they were young, feral kittens who instantly bonded with each other. MetroWest placed them in a socialization group, they did somewhat well, then both were adopted together back in March of 2019. Unfortunately, their owner surrendered them back to MetroWest in Sept. 2019 stating “they just weren’t friendly enough.” Boy that broke our hearts!!!! Hence – trust issues and very scared!!
In June 2020, we lost our fur baby, Socks. My husband and I were devastated. Socks was this loveable, outgoing ham of a cat!! Shortly thereafter, my sister told us about Earl and Yara who were looking for their fur-ever home. We read their story and knew they were extremely shy and scared (quite the opposite of our Socks!). They had to be adopted together because of their bond. We met with Earl and Yara several times prior to us adopting them. We knew they were not lap cats, but we wanted to give them all the love we could and we wanted to provide them with a beautiful home, which they so deserve. They have truly blossomed. We love seeing their personalities come through. The noises they make. The way they communicate with each other. They are so funny! Earl and Yara are SO loved and SO extremely happy. We are truly blessed.
