Pet's Story or Bio
Georgie was a tiny feral kitten that was brought to our backyard by an adult male feral we had been supporting for several years. We immediately sent him to MetroWest Humane who clearly saved the life of this poor little emaciated kitten. Unfortunately, Georgie was not able to adjust to being around other kittens at the shelter, and when it impacted his health, we decided to adopt him.
At age 3, Georgie suffered two life-threatening seizures. After two emergency hospital stays and many medical tests, he was diagnosed with epilepsy and asthma. Georgie requires medication twice a day, which has kept him stable for the past three years. His disabilities have not kept him from enjoying life as a champion bird watcher, toy collector, dog beautician, bed warmer, and ruler of the house.
Georgie’s medical prognosis remains unclear but as long as he is with us, he will always be regarded as a special gift from an old friend who completes this family.
