Pet's Story or Bio
Betty (shelter name Basil) arrived at MWHS as a stray with one kitten. Her first adoptive home didn’t work out and she returned to the shelter, where she liked to show her beautiful self off on top of a cat tree. She came home with me in March 2019, and quickly took command of my house. She is a big fan of crinkle balls, chipmunk watching, using my placemat for cat yoga, and racing top speed around the house on Secret Cat Missions. She is gradually learning to trust humans enough to allow occasional patting and brushing, and she keeps me company — just out of arm’s reach — most of the day.
