Gladys came into my life two months after my beloved standard poodle Ruby had passed. After Ruby's death, I thought I didn't "need" a dog, but my home was too empty without a poodle. My cat Debbie, a Humane Society adoptee, was also pining for a poodle pal. Gladys is the poodle love of my life. She comes to work with me every day and is quite the office building celebrity. She is a delight and the poodle love of my life. Though she would deny it, Debbie is wild about Gladys too. What a gift both of my pets are to me.
